In the most beautiful part of Kishegy, at 300 metres stands the little masterpiece of the baroque style, the Chapel of Kishegy enclosed by grape-vines and providing a picturesque view. Its whole exterior, its steeple, but its inferior, its old altar and its candlesticks represent its architectural style.
This chapel is first was mentioned in the Canonical Visitatio of Látrány dated 1815:
"In the vicinity of Lelle in the so-called Kishegy vineyard stands the chapel made of solids, built by baron Gyorgy Majthenyi; provided with everything necessary. It also has a churchbell, 30 kilograms in weight."
Its bell - together with the two bells of the church of Lelle - was consecrated by Marton Biro bishop in Marcali, in the year of 1784.
In 1815 Kishegy and the chapel became the possession of count Ferenc Szechenyi. The coat of arms of the Szechenyi's still can be seen on the altar. In the chapel there is no church service since the families living in Kishegy have moved to Lelle.
