Bogacs - Description
The valuable thermal water of Bogacs, an agreeable holiday village in the Bukkalja, was discovered while they were searching for oil, and is effective mainly for treating rheumatic diseases and gynaecological symptoms. A pleasant, quiet spa resort has been constructed during the last decades in order to exploit it. The lakes around Bogacs are excellent for angling. Bogacs also has rich cultural programmes, with all kinds of festive activities including swimming, song and wine festivals.
