The Szemlo-hill Cave attracts visitors because it is a tiny natural haven in a sea of asphalt. Its exceptionally clean, dust-free atmosphere is even used for purposes of physical therapy. The cave was sculpted by hot springs and the walls are thickly encrusted with mineral forms reminiscent of cauliflowers, bunches of grapes and garden peas, a therapy for the mind.

Open to visitors from 10am to 4pm, closed on Tuesdays. Tours depart every hour, on the hour. Larger groups are requested to book in advance.
