Bukfurdo, the resort of thermal baths well-known all over Europe, developed into one of Hungary's most remarkable spas in the second half of the 20th century. The thermal waters of inestimable value, the subalpine climate, the environment abound in places of interest, the well-kept look of the settlement, and the services of a high standard assure that guests encounter excellent conditions to heal and relax.
The healing power of thermal baths was known already to the ancient Romans. They took special care of saving their bodily and mental health.
The thermal water of Buk comes to the surface from a depth of 1282 meters, with a temperature of 55 °C. The thermal water contains calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate, which makes it suitable to treat almost all kinds of kinetic diseases.
The health resort is well equipped and it is very up-to-date. The hydrotherapic establishment has grown with a new surgery since August 2002. The health spa is waiting for the guest with the well educated team.
