The building of the present Local History Museum is the remaining part of the manor, which was built by Bertalan Balogh in the third quarter of the 16th century as a late Renaissance mansion.
Permanent exhibitions:
- 1000 Years in the Architecture and Sculpture of Csempeszkopács: tombstones and fragments from the 10-19th centuries.
- The Romanesque church of Csempeszkopács, the Balogh- Sarlay Mansion, parsonage and school building from the 17th century.
- The local and education history of Csempeszkopács: certificates, documents, stamps, village law from 1642, copies of maps, photographs.
- Etnography of Csempeszkopács and its region: furniture, garments, farming tools, winery tools.
- Smith, cartwright and tailor handicraft: tools, unfinished and finished handcrafted objects.
- Károly Antal memorial room: the life and work of the Ybl-Prizewinner architect native to Csempeszkopács.
- Chasubles from 19-20th-century liturgy.
