The palace was built between 1715 and 1732 by the plans of Giovanni Battista Carlone, between 1761 and 1775 of Josef Ignaz Gerl, Jakab Fellner and Jozsef Francz, from 1828 by the plans of Jozsef Zwenger.
You can gaze in wonder at the treasures in the collection, the Gothic chalices, ciboriums, reliquary crosses. The coronation robe of Empress Maria-Theresa is also kept here.
