Queen Elisabeth Park Hotel - Parád (Parádfürdő)

     

The hotel is situated in Paradfurdo, along main road Nr. 24, halfway between Gyongyos and Eger and 100 kilometres far from Budapest.
Queen Elisabeth Park Hotel was built in 1893 after the plan of Miklos Ybl. The hotel was open for guests in February 2002 after the renovation.
Paradfurdo is situated in the valley of Matra covered by forests, by the southern slope of „White-Stone”, by the bank of the Tarna- brook. Tarna is running across Paradfurdo collects the brook-waters of this valley (Ilona, Gilice, Koszorus, Bukk). The greatest waterfall of Matra (8 meters high) can also be found in the Ilona-valley. Two artificial lakes are created for which storing the water contains alum. Different thermal springs, Vichy water containing alum-iron, sulphur springs in this area. The valley in Parad has a unique climate protected against northern wind. The edge of the village is covered by forests, mainly oaks with extension of more than 23 square kilometres. Parad and its environment are amongst the most popular tourist centres of Northern-Hungary, which is the geographical centre of a Hungarian ethnic group (paloc). Its attractive beauty, its calmness, its climatic air, and its view altogether provides a pleasant stay and relaxation for the visitors. Since Kekes Mountain is nearby, this village also offers excellent possibilities for those who love winter sports. The hotel has a 2-hectare park, which enchants its visitors.

Apartment
The 6 apartments (with double internal area and gallery) are offered for families with children and for those guests who appreciate the larger area and the higher comfort.

All apartments have air conditioner and the windows with a park view. We provide bathing gown for our guests free of charge.

You can use the swimming pool (14*7 meters), sitting pool, Finnish sauna, infra sauna, Turkish bath, bubble bath, solarium, massage room, and fitness room so the relaxation will be perfect.
The first class restaurant provides with gastronomic experience and you can find ‘paloc’ (local) and international meal on the menu card. Non-smoking restaurant is suitable for 64 persons and smoking restaurant and bar- both suitable for 20 persons- lead to the non smoking restaurant, yet these rooms cannot be opened up to one room.
The 3 conference rooms (can sit more than 100 persons totally) offer good scene for conference and business meetings, the Internet connection is ensured. Technical equipment in the conference room: television, video, flipchart, overhead projector, Internet access, computer, calculator, fax, and photocopier, tape recorder and CD.
Indoor car parking (for 56 cars) is offered for the guests for free of charge.

Room rates include breakfast, the use of sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool and fitness room. Tourism tax should be paid extra, it costs HUF 300/person/night.
