The Gomor-Torna Karst region with its terrain, the rich flora and fauna is a unique corner of Hungary. You can choose either our guided walks or you can hike on the marked trails individually in all seasons you will experience something unforgettable.
Guided walk around Aggtelek
The guide will introduce visitors to the natural and cultural history of the village. The tour passes the traditionally cultivated fields. You can pay homage to the memory of people working for the Baradla Cave during the past centuries, and you can have an insight into the life of a gingerbread workshop.
The principle route of the walk:
World Heritage monument (Baradla Cave entrance) ? Baradla Plateau and hillside ? ?the Devil?s plough-land?, Aggtelek Lake ? belfry ? Zombor-lyuk sinkhole ? cemetery and memorial posts ? Reformed church ? the Big Well (sight of the ruined inn) ? peasant room ? Mandala Handicrafts Workshop (gingerbread and candle-making) ? Baradla Cave entrance.
Schedule of tours:
* In high season at 13 p.m. even with a single participant.
* In off-season: on advanced booking (at least 3 days ahead) between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a minimum of 5 participants.
The number of visitors is limited to 30 people at a time.
Guided walk around Josvafo
Josvafo is situated within the National Park, in a narrow, forested valley. Its natural and cultural properties, the rich cave world and traditional architecture create a special atmosphere. The walk leaves from the Josvafo entrance of the Baradla Cave and returns there after a three-hour walk through the village. As they walk visitors can observe the natural, the architectural and cultural environment, as well as learn about the traditional village structure and the tools and methods used in agriculture.
The principle route of the walk:
Entrance of the Baradla Cave ? Josva Springs ? Tengerszem Lake ? old village ? village museum ? water mill ? belfry ? reformed church ? cemeteries ? manor house ? main square ? Baradla Gallery ? Istvan Gereguly?s bee-keeping farm ? entrance of the Baradla Cave. On advanced booking (one week ahead) you can participate in traditional bread baking.

* In high season: at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. even with a single participant.
* In off-season: on advanced booking (at least 3 days ahead) between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a minimum of 5 participants.
