This has been Mecca for Rheumatics for 75 years, since the 75C thermal waters, springing up from a depth of 1100 metres, have been used for healing, in the most popular holiday resort of the Great Plain. Two or three treatments per week in the Medicinal Bath (1-3 Szent Istvan Park) result in an improvement in chronic rheumatic, gynaecological, dermatological and internal disorders. The microclimate of the bath is given by iodine-saline vapour ascending from the 10.000 square metre water surface. This is a wonderfully attractive place, not only for those looking for improvement in their health, but also for holiday makers and all who enjoy adventure pools. There are 2.000 hours of sunshine annually. There is a 25-hectare open-air pool, a boating lake, a recently built Aquapark with a 113 metre giant slide, a racing slide with four lanes, a 101-metre black hole and a crazy stream.

The collection of aluminium bells in the Bell House in front of the pool has a global patent. The frescos in the 18th-century Church of St. Ladislaus depict the finding of the healing water.
The exhibitions on local history, ethnography, folklore and art, belonging to the Istvan Bocskai Museum, can be visited in different houses on Bocskai street (Nr. 12, 14, 21). In the pottery house (2 Ady street), the room designed in the style of the last century, is decorated with black ceramic ware from Nadudvar.
