The castle of Andor Hertelendy was an outstanding project in the area at the beginning of the 20th century. Not only because of its architecture, but also because of its landscape. From a hunting point of view it is in at the most frequented location in the country, so it's not by chance that the prime hunting specialists of the age, mainly count Zsigmond Széchényi were frequent guests at the Hertelendy Castle. The elegant, generously built baronial land was famousfor its hospitality given to the guest as if they were part of the noble family. Thus an invitation to the castle was always of high prestige. Today in the world of fast pace and impersonality they maintain the heritage of Andor Hertelendy in more than its physical meaning. They have completed the castle and land renovation and development, though we kept intact the two most important things. The guests' relaxation and satisfaction.

Tastes, smells, flavours - exactly like our granny used to make... Breakfast is made of fresh eggs, strawberry jam is bottled from their home-grown fruits. Soup served at lunch is prepared from our organic garden, from fresh, crunchy vegetables that have never seen any chemicals. You will find our their home-made goose cheese on your plate. For dinner you will have the roast pork from our their organic farm. The kicthen use whole-ground flour with high concentration of fibre for our croissants.

Children policy: Under 2 years of age accommodation and breakfast free of charge
2 - 6 years of age accomodation is free of charge if the child stays on extra bed in the parents' room.
Over 6 years of age we charge an extra bed fee (€ 40) and we provide 30% off from the hotel services.
Cancellation policy (for individuals): 72 hours (or more) prior to arrival free of charge, in 72 hours or no-show 1 night should be paid.
