The Hotel Korona was opened in 1990 as a Hungarian, Finnish, Swedish Ltd. Today - with the help of an expansion - the hotel offers the most varied services in Eger. Its facilities provide a perfect selection for the guests with touristic purposes, conference participants, or those who prefer the wine and gastronomic facilities.

In 40 double rooms 90 people can be accommodated. Among these rooms you can find standard double rooms or king size bedrooms, triple bedrooms or family apartments. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, hairdryer, television, mini bar and IDD telephone with wake-up system. Non-smoking and air-conditioned rooms are offered on request.

Recently has been opened the most comfortable and luxury rooms and suites. 15 rooms with total comfort are offered. Among these rooms you can choose from superior, double room or luxury suites.
Services The hotel's wellness-fitness centre (indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, body and cosmetics treatments, poolbar and sport programmes) ensures whole recreation for your body (with the help of masseurs) and your soul.

Organizing conference, exhibition or training, there are rooms for every occasions for 8-180 persons. The specially nice Ballroom is an ideal location for weddings, balls or business events.
Gastronomy and wines The Hotel Korona restaurant with terrace, garden and specialities of the Hungarian kitchen offers intimate dinner evenings. During winter time the restaurant, in summer the terrace guarantee pleasant atmosphere for the cuisine of the Hungarian dishes.
Dinners with wine tasting and wine gastronome evenings are organised in the more then 200 years old Istvan Cellar & National Wine Museum (anno 1789). The wine cellar lies 12 m below the hotel and consists of 4 different parts. Here guests can join the guided tour, to see and hear the interesting history of the cellar. You can taste the wines for gastronome, and enjoy the virtuoso gypsy music and folklore program.

In the National Wine Museum, the traditional wine-making techniques are exhibited and you can find an introduction to the 22 Hungarian wine regions. Here more than 500 different kinds of wine including several wine rarities can be found.
In the wine sanctuary local wines from the most well-known wine producers' cellars are presented. Among them, the House wines produced by Bela Vincze. The cellar has 2 restaurant areas for approximately 200 people.
