Hotel Azúr is situated in the heart of the fastest developing city of the region, Siófok, directly on the shores of Lake Balaton, on 6 hectares of parkland with its own sandy beach.
Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, captivates the visitor with a different face in each season and rewards those open to its magic with many unforgettable gifts.


Room information
In the three buildings of the Mediterranean style Hotel there are 222 air conditioned balconied rooms equipped with extras, of which 18 are luxury suites with their own sauna and Jacuzzi.
All rooms have balconies, televisions with movie channels and are equipped with a Wi-Fi internet-connection, a safe, hairdryer, minibar and air conditioning.
An extra bed can be added to some rooms in the form of rollaway sofas that open up into comfortable beds or cotbeds for our smallest guests. I the hotel tehere are 48 smoking double rooms (connectable into a family room), 36 doubles (with king size beds), 120 twins (with double beds), of which an extra bed can be added in 48 rooms, and 18 suites with non-smoking and hypoallergenic options.


Wellness & Spa services
The bath complex, with its over 1000 square meter water surface, that is part of the Hotel is a special luxury. Several ‘water adventures’ in both the indoor and outdoor pools make bathing a unique experience.
The large amusement pool with its spout and water mushroom is an alluring temptation on a hot summer day.
Within a 60 minute wellness program, you can combine the whirling corridor, the neck and back shower and the upper and lower body massaging water rays (integrated Jacuzzi elements) in order to fully relax.
More athletic guests can take a swim, but those who only want to rest and relax will also feel the unmistakable revitalising and invigorating effect of water that comes straight from nature.
They have harmonised the use of the Jacuzzi pool with the Jacuzzi in the amusement pool, so you can treat your tired muscles together.
The heated children’s pool is an ideal place for children to paddle in.
Thermal pool
The thermal water of the 50 m2 thermal pool, which comes from the Nagyberény Spring, contains vital elements. The town of Nagyberény is situated 15 kms from the Balaton, at the gate of the gentle Somogy hills. Its classified thermal water, which comes from 1091 meters deep is recommended for treating locomotor problems, gynaecological and urologic diseases, dermatological changes, as well as post-treatment after injuries from accidents and orthopaedic surgery. Its therapeutic effect is strongest if you spend several short periods in the pool.


Gastronomy & Restaurant
The fine and unforgettable wines of the Balaton region and other traditional Hungarian wine-growing areas are worthy companions of the culinary pleasures you will experience in the restaurant. The superior coffees, cocktails and desserts prove that the “dolce vita” can also be healthy if lived with moderation.


Conference possibilities
Hotel Azúr has one of the largest conference centres of the Balaton region which is exceptionally suitable for holding large conferences, trainings, balls and other corporate events.
