The Balaton Museum is the third public exhibition centre in the town, standing in the middle of a small park. It was founded at the end of the last century, but it got its present building between the two wars.
Its exhibits in 11 rooms introduce the visitors to the history, folklore, flora, and fauna of Lake Balaton and its environs.
