We can find a forest, named Dobogo between Kormend and Horvatnadalja, in the floodplain of Raba-Pinka, cuddled by banking oxbows. This is one of the last ones of the typical woods of Raba.
However this place is not famed for its trees. This is one of the notable forests with tozike flowers in Vas shire.
These huge oxbow forests used to have plenty of spring tozikes, squills, "kotu" lilies. Nowadays these forests have shrunk into the size of tiny islands and the "tozike" flowers are under protection. Snowdrops are everyday flowers, everywhere, but we have to take care of cowslips - coming up across the clearings - as much as we do it for "tozike"s.
