The main church is a Franciscan church built in 1702-1714 in Baroque style. It is a listed building. Its tower was completed in 1816.
It has a rich, Baroque internal decoration. The high altar piece was painted by Gaspar Franz Sambach. Its pulpit is especially beautiful. The church is unique in that its holy water basin was carved from Mustafa Pasha's tombstone bearing a Turkish inscription.
Added to the west side of the church is the Franciscan monastery built at the same time as the church. Today it houses the town library.
