Nagymaros
Nagymaros - Description
Nagymaros, a town founded in the Middle Ages, today of the water sports centre of the river Danube. The best view is from the Visegrad side, from the Julianus watching-tower (Hegyesteto 482m). Nagymaros is connected to Visegrad by ferry. The Roman Catholic Church (Szent Imre Square) is a notable monument of 14th-century Gothic architecture.
