According to local tradition, the Calvinist preacher, Mate Laczko Szepsi produced the first muscatel wine in the world, from the grapes of the Oremusfield in Ujhely.
This is commemorated by the "Temple of Wine", built in 1911 featuring the coats of arms of the Hegyalja country towns.
