Have you ever seen the forestry and carpenter tools and the equipment used in land surveying and cartography which was produced in the 19th - 20th century? You may see them all at the Forestry Museum.
Many interesting things telling new information are the parts of the collection: the fossil wood records, a map from 1656, documents and big maquettes tables from the end of the 19th century, the entomological collection made in 1870, the wooden tools and household equipment from the last century, machine maquettes, and many other things.
Beside the permanent exhibition, there are miscellaneous temporary exhibitions as well. The Esterhazy Palace, which hosts the exhibition was the scene of a notable event in 1921.
The representatives of the Triple Entente established the result of the plebiscite held in Sopron. It states the final status of Sopron, which became part of Hungary.
