Region of the Upper Tisza - According to an ancient saying, God created the region of the Upper Tisza in high spirits, and this is not an exaggeration. Region of the Nyirseg - The region on the left bank of the Tisza, differs in many points from the neighbouring Plain, though there are no hills here either. This area, covered some centuries ago by swamps and marshes, is even now decorated with an exciting variety of vegetation.
