Varkert Pension - Miskolc

    

The rooms of the main building are on the 1st floor of the Pension. Every room is air-conditioned and has its own bathroom (with shower). The rooms are equipped with colour TV, telephone and minibar. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the Castle and the mountains.
The new, "B" wing of the Pension has been receiving guests since June 2004. In this wing there are 8 rooms, which are all equipped with bathroom (with shower), colour TV, telephone and minibar. These rooms are not air-conditioned.
Restaurant
The air-conditioned restaurant, located on the groundfloor, can seat 40 people and even more during the spring/summer months when guests can enjoy their drink, lunch or dinner on the terrace in front of the building. Our menu includes traditional Hungarian dishes and local specialities.
Meeting room
The separated meeting room, which seats 40 people, is suitable for business meetings, training, etc. The room is equipped with flipchart-table and screen; it has natural light but can be darkened.

Diosgyor is a convenient starting point for those who would like to discover the famous sights, places of the area: Lillafured, downtown Miskolc are both accessible within 20 minutes by public transport (bus).
In the Castle of Diosgyor several programs, events are organised in spring, summer and autumn. Besides the famous "Varjatekok" (Mediaeval castle plays) and the Kalaka Festival which take place here every year; various concerts, theatre plays await everyone who long for cultural entertainment.

The room rates include breakfast, usage of the sauna, for building "A" bathrobe, air-conditioning and VAT. Tourism tax (HUF 340/person/night) should be paid extra.
Double room for single use costs HUF 12.000/night (in the main building) and HUF 9.000/night (in the "B" wing).
An extra bed (in both buildings) costs HUF 3.000/night.
Half-board is available.
Children policy: children up to 6 years can stay in their parents' room free of charge.
Cancellation policy (for individuals): 72 hours (or more) prior to arrival free of charge, in 72 hours or no-show 1 night should be paid.
Check-in: 2 pm, check-out 10 am.
