Gorka Géza (1894-1971) a pioneer undertook a role in the story of the Hungarian ceramics. This branch of his activity may have risen as an independent area onto a world standard for the Hungarian fine arts duly. Gorka oeuvre proved that the ceramics is independent for an artistic branch for the Hungarian art history to be considered. His father's tradition his daughter, the Hungarian avantgard one of the largest pioneers of ceramics, Gorka Lívia creating today continued.
