The tower of the building built in Classical style between 1828 and 1833 has two storeys and still this is the smallest church of the Castle.

One can read the sign "MMT" on the wall, the three letters stand for the following Greek text: Maria, God's Mother. The picture ornamenting the high altar was created in the honour of St. Imre while the side-altars are decorated with the pictures of Piarist saints.
