About 500 entities of 120 species live today on the 13 hectares territory of the Zoo.
Apart from the well-known animals we can have a glance at some exotic and rare zoological species as the Sumatra tiger, the karakara or the Oryx.
In the Zoo open all the year there are some programme facilities for the visitors. The County Hunting Day, St George Day and Midsummer Night Entertainment, Run for the Zoo, Children's Day and snow sculpture competitions in winter are the most important events organised year by year. In summer some temporary exhibitions (e.g. reptile exhibition) can be visited.
