The park is situated in the picturesque surroundings of Lake Gebati, near Zalaegerszeg, and is easily accessible from the town by public transport or by car.

The AquaCity water-slide park opened in 2003, and covers an area of 7.5 hectares. The water area is 6000 square metres, which means 5.6 million litres of water. The facilities offering fun and entertainment include thirteen big and five smaller water slides, twelve pools (slow stream pool, children's pool, wave pool, Jacuzzi etc.). The aqua park offers colourful activities for the entire summer. AquaCity is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and to 8 p.m. on weekends.

The adventure is made more enjoyable by the addition of a pizzeria, several restaurants, a buffet, and snack bars. Locker-rooms and shower rooms are also available. Those who only want to bathe can enjoy the warm and pleasant pools of the Thermal Baths right next to the aqua park. The number of visitors to AquaCity exceeded one hundred thousand in 2003.
